Texas Bound
It would have been great to spend a week or so in LA. We met some
very nice people and had a wonderful campground. Very clean.
We joined Passport of America and it was a campground so we stay less than full price for one night.
We will go back I am sure. There is so much more to see.
It rained all night and we woke up early had a very early start for us.
We are Texas Bound
The lone star state. It was a very overcast day.
The one great thing about Texas welcome center and rest areas.
They all have wifi.... (smile)
It was very very foggy all the way to Port O'Conner so did not get any pictures.
Went right through down town Houston.
Arrived here at Port O'Conner Becon 44....
I think it was around 4 pm
It \is one great campground.
Our great friends Dennis and Carol met us in town and brought us
in to our campground. They took us around the grounds then
she fixed a fantastic dinner which was very much appreciated,
we left took a shower
and called it a night.
Tomorrow its on to a new adventure. Exploring Texas
Well tomorrow is the Sabbath so maybe we will have a day of rest.
A much needed one.
God is good..................................all the time..........
I just read this to day and liked it a lot and thought I would post it.........
