Ready Set WAIT.....Not quite Camping time yet.

LJ's plan was a trip to Taquamonen Falls.......  but we decided to wait a few weeks yet......after the fresh snow,

Rosie2 roadtrek meets Marquette

Well yesterday we went to the big city..........................................

. The thing about Rosie2 roadrunner is going Anywhere is so much fun.



We picked up a few things (food) looked at camp supplies and we and took a nap.

Well  just relaxed and read while LJ put away some serious zzzzzss.



We met the kids for son's birthday.  Yummy food at one of the best restaurant in Marquette..



Driving home LJ found out how R2 handled in a snow storm.

The worst kind.

Blinding snow..

Wet heavy slush that throws you around everywhere.

But LJ was pretty impressed how the weight of r2  (rosie2 roadrunner)  helped stay on the road.  We are getting 14.4 for gas which is not to bad about what our truck was getting...

Needless to say it was great to see the driveway....

It was a great day a good meal and a safe drive home.

 So thankful.

We called the dealer and they found the extra key.

Let the wheels roll.

We need to go find grass.   Green
Anything green.

Love snow but to much of a good thing

is to much of a good thing .....

Tomorrow we leave to pick up our new Rosie in Pa.


So thankful and it will be so much fun...

It is hard not to get over excited.


She is white  and she looks great...

Met some very nice people in PA such a delight to know that there are so many business people with integrity..........

We encountered a few scams of craigslist  well actually a more than a few.

So thankful.... just when we gave up after months of searching

She showed up........   

So now starts a new chapter in our life

On the road again....  Yippee.....

God has a very good plan for our life.

Pray for them.. cover them with prayer..  do not talk about it pray about it

Pay attention to thoughts, feelings,  that come to us.  

Ask God why we are not sleeping well.....  be responsible.
Rebuke Devil......  get peace in your mind.

You never have to worry about what others are doing...  do your part.

If you do your part God will take care of you....

Pay attention to the prompting of the Holy Spirit.....

A New Venture for us Rosie Roadtrek 2

YIPPIE!!!!!!!

God is so good.....

After many months of searching when we least expected it...

already to give up...

 Rosie Roadtrek 2 came into our life yesterday

 quite by accident.

She is not delivered yet. 

 But she has everything. 

 Even a generator which is a bonus.. 

It is hard not to get so excited. 

 She is many many hours from us so now the plan to go and get her is coming into play. 

We want God's plan not ours..  


L  has sermon at Church Wed night so we will leave on Thur. 

 the good Lord willing.

Satsuma orange Unique to LA

We met a very nice guy named Roy in the park who brought us some  Satsuma Oranges.  They are pretty unique to this area.

I wanted to bring some home but the season will be over by the time we leave.  They are like a tangerine and real real sweet.  Fun to try something local.

We just got back from a walk  looks like it is almost a full moon

Another Beautiful Sunny Day

I love the sun... and boy oh boy has it been kind to us.  Everyday even on the cold ones we have seen Mr.
Sunshines face.
Last night we went to Mexican two for one.  We rode with some new friends from Mass.  Had a great time.

Today we are going to an old fashion drug store and the Weeks Estuary...

LJ is still not up to power.  Thinking he should go in to Doctor but sometimes men can be so stubborn...  oops
did I say that????????????????

A little under the weather the last few days

We ventured out today for meds. Stopped and seen Warhorse at the movies. The weather is cold. 45 but very sunny. Some one coming in for singing tonight at park.
Think we are both getting better health wise.

We had a very nice Waitress  the kitchen is in the school bus.
Very cool place to eat with excellent creme Broccoli soup.  It is pretty close to us

LJ and I are getting sore throats.
We picked up and air filter and think it will help freshen the air in Rosie.
It is hard going with our big dog..really hard when she is shedding.

Rosies home for the winter

The weather is really quite nice. 60's and 70's during the day. It is like a UP spring. This is Rosies new home for the next few months.. The people here are wonderful and we have met so many new friends.

A wonderful two days spent family  in lower Michigan Indiana....

.Kids,  Aunt Uncle  and  cousins and one we have not seen in many years..............Family is such a wonderful gift.

Checked in to Applebees yesterday with Aunt and Uncle..  was a fun time....


And WAY WAY to much good food.

Looks like no white Christmas for them....  wonder if it will be back home?

Taking grandson to Essen House for breakfast today....  Love love love that place....so does he.  It was his pick for his day out with grandpa and grandma....

LJ will love eating his fried mush.....

1st night
