Picnic at Lake Superior
It was a cold but beautiful day. Our first picnic of the year by Lake Superior . What a beauty she is.
Only in the Up have I ever seen such a beautiful sky the bluest of blue. We are so thankful and loving our new Roadrunner.
============================
My notes
Acts 10:38
We all went about. How many people do we touch?? Do we smile? Care? Give our time? Reach out ? Lord forgive me for not being aware and sensitive to others needs.
One below an counting.
Today is our area. 64th day of below zero weather this winter.
Rosie the roadrunner is even shivering
As I sit here typing it is -1.
Rosie the roadrunner is even shivering

Ok let's see.
There must be so much to be thankful for this.
Let me think
thinking.*********************
Thinking hard.
Ok.
Ok.
1. We don't have to run the air conditioner
2. We have warm house to snuggle up in.
3. We have heat.
4. The sun shines most days when it has been this cold. ⛅
5. Might be killing some of the bad bugs that have been killing trees.
6. We don't have to run air conditioner :)
Spring is just around the corner. And how quickly we forget.
We will soon be thinking how warm it is. Sure wish it was cooler. We certainly do appreciate the seasons. And up here the are so many days that are just right. 65-75. Surly must be heavenly temp's.
How hard it is for us to stop complaining about the weather.
Forgive me Lord.
This is the day that the Lord hath made we shall rejoice and be glad in it.

Thank God For The Promise of Springtime.
Coming home yesterday from town my hubby pointed out to me a bare spot over there by the huge snow bank..
.............................and what did my two eyes see???? Nope no tiny reindeer.......but GREEN yes below that frozen snow look what appears
Thank you Jesus
THANK GOD FOR SPRING lyrics.......sing on Cynthia Clawson sing on....
The sky seems gray above me
And I can't see the light of day
There's a ray breaking through the shadows
And the smile can't be far away
(chrs.)
Thank God for the promise of springtime
Once again my heart will sing
There's a brand new day a-dawning
Thank God for the promise of spring
Though the earth looks bleak and barren
And the seeds they're brown and dead
But the promise of life grows within them
And I know spring is just ahead
Gifts given
Green so thankful for the color green
dirt how great it is...
tiny little blades of grass
water... Oh Lord what would we do with out you and all your many blessings...Thank you
God is good all the time
All the time God is good..
================================================================================woke and in my mind I was singing this song ....
WHY
We rode into town the other day
Just me and my Daddy
He said I'd finally reached that age
And I could ride next to him on a horse
That of course was not quite as wide
We heard a crowd of people shouting
And so we stopped to find out why
And there was that man
That my dad said he loved
But today there was fear in his eyes
So I said "Daddy, why are they screaming?
Why are the faces of some of them beaming?
Why is He dressed in that bright purple robe?
I'll bet that crown hurts Him more than He shows
Daddy, please can't you do something?
He looks as though He's gonna cry
you said he was stronger than all of those guys
addy, please tell me why
Why does everyone want him to die?"
Later that day the sky grew cloudy
And Daddy said I should go inside
Somehow he knew things would get stormy
Boy was he right
But I could not keep from wondering
If there was something he had to hide
So after he left I had to find out
I was not afraid of getting lost
So I followed the crowds
To a hill where I knew men had been killed
And I heard a voice come from the cross
And it said, "Father, why are they screaming?
Why are the faces of some of them beaming?
Why are they casting their lots for My robe?
This crown of thorns hurts Me more than it shows
Father, please can't You do something?
I know that You must hear My cry
I thought I could handle the cross of this size
Father, remind Me why
Why does everyone want Me to die?
When will I understand why?"
"My precious Son, I hear them screaming
I'm watching the face of the enemy beaming
But soon I will clothe You in robes of My own
Jesus, this hurts Me much more than You know
But this dark hour I must do nothing
Though I've heard Your unbearable cry
The power in Your blood destroys all of the lies
Soon You'll see past their unmerciful eyes
Just me and my Daddy
He said I'd finally reached that age
And I could ride next to him on a horse
That of course was not quite as wide
We heard a crowd of people shouting
And so we stopped to find out why

The power in Your blood destroys all of the lies
Soon You'll see past their unmerciful eyes
Look there below, see the child
Trembling by her father's side
Now I can tell You why
She is why You must die

Will it ever quit????? snowing that is
It was wonderful waking up this morning to white..snow snow everywhere
.. almost did not even need lights on in the house.
The good Lord is so good to us no sun in the sky
so white light on the ground. Yippeeeee......
I saw him peak out his head the other day
Mr. Sun that is
and yes he still is yellow and beautiful. Ran for the camera...and oops he was gone.
I yelled the SUN IS OUT so loud to my husband who was working on his computer ran to see if I fell or something. I was happy jumping up and down
the sun is out
the sun is out....
he was not a happy camper
he did not see the humor in this and mostly cause he never saw the sun...

Winter wonderland is appearing
New cover for snowblower
Lj is not sure he likes it but it will be nice when the temps go below zero in Jan. He said it is just getting used to it. It turns different now.
Rosie is still sitting with her winter coat....Under a not so charming GREN TARP.
DIL calls her the green bean. She grew to tall and will not fit in our garage. Good thing we are not in a subdivision..
Now its the green bean. Looks like she is getting her hair done. Well not really but its not the most charming look.
Rosie whispered to me when I went outside for a second yesterday....
"When are we getting out of here"??????????? she chimed.
I smiled and said Time will tell little green bean.........mean while LJ is just enjoying is white stuff.
22 inches so far and rising so he has to go back out today and start in again good excersie right?
In the meantime I need to call grandson and see if we can get the roof shoveled.:)

White Sabbath ....and.....no not a rock group
Well we should be well over 300 inches of snow this year and it is still climbing. this snowflake can not see anything but white coming down out side her window.
Baker boy is resting on the couch (more like sleeping) and we are snug as a bug in a rug.
I just looked at Texas and it is 39 in Port O'Conner. mmmmmmm that does not sound to warm to me.but warmer than 5......
Our Honey of a mini home is getting buried under the white stuff. She shakes and shivers every once in a while .... (I think she is crying she is used to NM in the winter time)
Thinking about having our son Mark paint a great big sun on her. That way she will be warm no matter where she is....
Have a great sabbath. and do remember
