43 years ago we said I do

Did we really know what all the I do's were????
but we went ahead I do'ed   and I willed  and I did.....
what a marvelous adventure..
Grand time YES
Bad times  Yes
 Ups and down's Yes
But the one thing God has shown me is 

Ecclesiastes 4:12 (NIV) 

12 Though one may be overpowered,
    two can defend themselves.
A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.

If we keep the third strand..the most powerful strand.  We can with stand anything..... 

Commitment where is it nowdays. 

All the young ones searching and not finding their heart's desire, mixed up.

 we need to speak out and let them know.  There is no peace with out the Lord.  He is the third strand that will bind forever...

Letter to God thankful for my blessing of a Godly husband

So thankful that today that I work up and on my heart was the joy of a Godly husband

Prayers for my husband,

 last night when he went to the men's bible study
he was told that the Lord has chosen him to serve as Elder at our Church.


So thankful
 that God has blessed me to live 41 years with such a godly man.  One who loves the Lord with all his heart and soul.
He is a wonderful funny guy.  He makes people laugh.  People love to be around him





A man who treats me like a queen.  Still after all these years together he opens the car door for me.



 I want to thank the Lord for my Godly husband.

   I am a grandma now to 19 grand kids.....

 and soon to be 20.  Where oh where did the time go????



  What a joy and blessing they are.   How they melt my heart.......



 It seems God is telling me at this older age my primary focus is to hold each and everyone of them up in prayer....... always.  everyday...................................... every second. 

 What a complicated world we live in. 

 How hard it is in the thinking of  many now days to strive to give our children what we think they need.
A word................. a word that builds..... and builds.  

A wise man told us sometimes it is like collecting pennys.....at first one penny (word)  and daily the pennys (words) build up.  Soon you have dollars and health.   He was not talking about words that build up....but thinking about it...it works......One word at a time... 
Building up each and every day an encouraging word in an world that can be so discouraging .


A world that can say such unkind things.  A world that tends not to think so often of what God says.  

  

  But as our wise Grace loving....... humble pastor has told us more than once the only things we can take to heaven with us ..................IS OUR CHILDREN.....

Being a mom a grandmother, sister, aunt cousin is such a wonderful calling.  We take these little ones and the ones that are not so little any more and hand them daily over to our Lord.  We give them and hope they all in turn give them selfs over to His mercey and glory.  His grace.  His Love His Peace.  In the end that is all that matters.   

The fruits of the spirit.   Love, Joy, long-suffering, Peace, self control, gentleness, Patience, Faithfulness  Kindness.......................................

This blog is not mine.   It is not for me to say fancy words.   It is words to Him who makes all things new.

I may not spell correctly, I may not have the best English in the world.  But it is all about Him...

He who gives all know all and blesses us even in our sorrow...............

A wonderful night At Family Christmas Party

What fun tonight and such a feast so much wonderful food.  Seems like 10#s have appeared on my body out of no where the last few weeks.

Thanks Sam and Connie for a great time.

Rosie's headlights are working just fine now and we are almost ready to hit the road.  Thanks to Dr. John.  He done brain surgery and Rosie came out smelling like a rose...  :)

Today is wrap up day and blowing the lines.  Although the heat is on also..

Today will be laundry day. I love getting it all done at one time. They are getting brand new washers at this park should be in today.
This is a great park a big one but if we come back to Texas this one is a revisit for sure.
We still want to make a trip to Kerrville and Luckenbach before heading north.

Anna said we are getting warmer weather at home and the snow is just starting to melt a bit. YIPPPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.

Alma's favorite Meal

Take  Philly cheese and spinach and nut meg (1/4) teaspoon mixed together spread on to flat chicken breast
roll up  and put a toothpick to hold it together then dip in a egg wash then roll in cracker crumbs then place in a baking pan and drizzle butter overtop then back 350  for about 30  min.  the crust will have a golden brown look to them                                                                                                      I have not tried this yet but don't want to lose the recipe.  Kenny makes this for Alma and he is a great cook.  This is Alma's favorite meal.
